Forestry Mulching
Forestry mulching is a land-clearing method that uses a single machine to selectively cut trees, brush and vines to clear unwanted vegetation while leaving behind a fine layer of mulch that is operational as well as beautiful.
This method can be used for various landscapes from overgrown forests, to fields or backyards.
When clearing brush, vines and saplings from a wooded area, you open up space to promote healthy growth of the remaining forest. To clear land or lots, property owners typically have to bring in lots of heavy machinery to take down trees and brush, which has to be hauled away after. In most cases loam has to be brought in along with fertilizer to give the ground back what it needs to get or stay healthy. Forestry mulching takes care of it all with just one machine. No more hauling away waste or bringing in more material. It uses all that it cuts down and turns it into a nutrient rich mulch.

If not properly removed prior to putting in the base for your driveway or such, the area where the stump was left behind will rot over time and create a whole or deep indent underneath the surface, causing it to cave in, crack and require more expensive repair down the road. We install culverts and drainage ditches for optimal redirection of water from streams, rain, melting snow or draining swamps. With our small excavator and skeleton bucket we also clean ditches or small private ponds from overgrown vegetation and sediment. Ponds and ditches collect fallen leaves, dirt and debris which depletes the oxygen, creating foul odors and discoloration.
